Green asparagus

Green asparagus, cooked in salt water, goes well with many different dishes. This vitamin-rich recipe is straightforward to prepare.

Ingredients for two servings

  • 500 G green asparagus
  • 0.5 TL oil
  • 1 TL salt
  • 1 prize sugar


  1. Peel the washed green asparagus in the lower third and cut off the woody ends.
  2. Bring saltwater to a boil. Pour in the asparagus upside down, add salt, sugar, and oil and let the asparagus cook for about 10 minutes.
  3. Then take out, drain, and serve.
